Kyrgyzstan in talks with Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan on crude oil supply for own refineries

AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Energy and Industry Kubanychbek Turdubaev told about measures taken to prevent the price hikes for fuels and lubricants during the parliamentary session.
It's necessary to launch the country's oil refineries, which have combined capacity of 2,215,000 tons of oil.
Kyrgyzstan's demand for oil is 1.3 million tons.
"Our refineries are capable fully supply our population, industry and agriculture with fuel products," he noted.
"We have a very big question, it's a crude oil supply. We are negotiating with Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. We are working on this issue," he said.
