AKIPRESS.COM - Exports of Kyrgyzstan are projected to increase by 2.7% in 2021, according to the National Bank.
The forecast of exports is based on expectations of gradual recovery of production in the country and external demand due to the recovery of economic activity in the partner countries after the pandemic restrictions imposed in 2020.
The recovery will be driven by export of textile and apparel products, agricultural goods, as well as re-export items.
At the same time, despite the rise in the world price of gold, the projected decline in metal production will make a negative contribution to the country's metal exports.
