105,000 students attend schools in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - Some 105,000 students attend schools in Bishkek since April 1, Bishkek Education Department Chief Elmira Imanalieva said.
Students of grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, 11 have offline classes in schools. Students of grades 6, 7, 8, and 10 study remotely.
Parents of 1,237 school students requested online education. Parents may apply for continuation of online learning in case their children can't attend school for health reasons or fear to attend offline classes in school, Elmira Imanalieva said.
As of April 1, coronavirus cases were confirmed in 14 students and 7 teachers. 3,496 students and 51 teachers have respiratory viral infections.
