AKIPRESS.COM - A fourth suspect in the kidnapping of Aizada Kanatbekova was detained, said Interior Minister Ulan Niyazbekov at parliament session on April 8. The minister did not name the detainee.
Niyazbekov added that the president and prime minister have this crime under their control.
On April 5, four men kidnapped Aizada, and on April 7 her dead body was found in a car near Bishkek. The body of one of the kidnappers, Zamirbek Tenizbaev, was in the same car.
Her murder sparked a nationwide outcry, hundreds protested in Bishkek on April 8 demanding the Interior Minister's resignation.
