Foreign Minister of Tajikistan, OSCE Chairperson-in-Office discuss cooperation

AKIPRESS.COM - Foreign Minister of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin received OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden Ann Linde who is on her working visit to Dushanbe, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan said. The sides considered a wide range of issues related to bilateral and multilateral cooperation with Sweden and OSCE.
The parties also discussed the situation in the region and Afghanistan.
Tajikistan considers OSCE an important platform for constructive dialogue and is interested in expanding relations with the Organization in all three dimensions - the military-political, the economic-environmental and the human, Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin said. Within the framework of bilateral relations, the parties expressed their readiness to use ample opportunities to intensify cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, energy, education, security, tourism and climate change.
