Around $2.385 million to be paid from public budget for Covid-19 compensations to health workers in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Some 200 million soms (around $2.385 million) will be allocated from the public budget for payment of compensations to health workers, Prime Minister Ulukbek Maripov said.
PM Maripov said medical workers came for a protest action recently demanding payment of compensations.
"We will raise salaries of medical workers since July 1. We need to resolve the problem with medical workers who have not received compensations. 200 million soms will be allocated from the public budget soon. I would like to ask medical workers to submit their compensation applications to a special commission again," the Prime Minister said.
Medical workers of Bishkek and Chui region came for a rally on April 16 demanding payment of compensations.
