Nationwide vehicle re-registration campaign to be held in Kyrgyzstan from June

AKIPRESS.COM - A nationwide campaign for re-registration of vehicles is planned in Kyrgyzstan from June 1 to December 31, deputy director of the Unaa State Registration Service Bakytbek Sheraliev said. During this period citizens willing to re-register their vehicle can apply to the registrar's office and get their cars re-registered for free.
"Maximum fee for the re-registration of vehicle is 4,658 soms, the minimum - 150 soms. From June 1 to December 31, the fee is suspended. Citizens come for re-registration, and if they won't have any tickets on Safe City system, the car is not in arrest or pledge, the documents correspond to requirements, it will cost 434 soms if a citizen wants to keep a valid license plate. If you change the region, for example, from Chui region to Bishkek, or want to get a new license plate, the cost of re-registration will be 1,326 soms. These amounts don't include the bank commission," explained Sheraliev.
