Ethnic Kyrgyz from Afghan Pamir get their Kyrgyz passports

AKIPRESS.COM - 12 ethnic Kyrgyz from Afghanistan's Pamir received their first identity document as citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in Jaiyl district of Chui region, said the State Registration Service. The ceremony of presentation of ID cards was held in the Jaiyl district administration with the participation of the governor of Chui region and the district head.
4 Pamir Kyrgyz received ID-cards of the Kyrgyz Republic in Naryn. The remaining 44 ethnic Kyrgyz will receive their documents in the near future.
106 ethnic Kyrgyz were granted citizenship of the country by presidential order. All these people received the status of a citizen of Kyrgyzstan in a simplified procedure according to the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
