44 ethnic Kyrgyz from Afghan Pamir get Kyrgyz passports

AKIPRESS.COM - 44 ethnic Kyrgyz from Afghanistan's Pamir who returned to their historic homeland have received Kyrgyz ID passports in the Alay district of Osh region, the State Registration Service said.
106 ethnic Kyrgyz have already received Kyrgyz citizenship and ID cards.
They received documents according to the executive order.
Issue of regulating the legal status of ethnic Kyrgyz people, including stateless persons of Kyrgyz nationality, is being studied in the framework of implementing the presidential decree and the plan of priority measures of the government to ensure social stability and economic sustainability.
