Batken residents closed road to Tajik enclave of Vorukh

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyz residents closed the road leading to Vorukh enclave.
The Aksai-Vorukh road is closed, the Turmush correspondent reports from the conflict zone.
Residents said they closed the road since 1 p.m. after residents of the Tajik village blocked the traffic on the Osh-Batken-Isfana highway's Jaka-Oruk (Tort-Kocho) section.
Tajik citizens reportedly began attacking citizens of Kyrgyzstan and their houses with stones since early morning of April 29. They threw stones also in the cars on Isfana-Osh road belonging to Kyrgyz citizens. The fire was opened by Tajik citizens into the military unit in Kok-Tash village today.
Taskforces were established in connection with the situation at the border and the state of emergency was declared in 3 rural municipalities of Ak-Sai, Ak-Tatyr and Samarkandek.
Residents from the border villages are being evacuated.
As a result of the conflict, four Kyrgyz citizens were injured, including 3 from rock throwing and 1 from gunshot. A resident with a gunshot wound was taken to the hospital.
