Over 800 Kyrgyzstanis evacuated from Kyrgyz-Tajik border conflict zone

AKIPRESS.COM - More than 800 people have been evacuated from the conflict zone on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border, the Batken region administration reported in the evening of April 29. 17 people were injured and one died as a result of the conflict, the Health Ministry said. The wound are receiving aid.
A total of 848 people have been evacuated to safety, including 498 to the town of Batken and 350 to Leilek. Members of the civil protection commission provide citizens with food.
The situation remains tense, the shooting has not ceased.
