Mass gatherings amid Ramadan banned in Bishkek due to Covid

AKIPRESS.COM - Jumu'ah (weekly Muslim mass prayer) were suspended in Bishkek until better epidemic situation, the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan said.
Starting April 30, crowds have been banned in mosques of the capital.
Dawah (act of inviting or calling people to embrace Islam) and Iftar gathering were banned.
The State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance Center on April 24 asked the Muftiate to ban Jumu'ah, Dawah and Iftar due to the coronavirus surge.
