When they were running, a 12-year-old Madina was hit by shell, fragments hit her in heart, kidneys and other organs. She was left lying there, her mother could not come closer because they kept shooting. It took them about 40 minutes to get to her. On the way to the hospital, her daughter died because she had lost a lot of blood," said Aida Gaparova.
The girl's aunt Sairam Khamdamova also flew to Bishkek from the Batken region. "Narbubu and her two daughters were injured. Madina, who was 12 years old, died on the way to the hospital in Leilek. Narbubu and her daughter were transferred to Bishkek. Neither the Ministry of Health nor the local authorities helped, they even took away sheets to wrap her body. They've already buried Madina," Sairam said. The situation in Batken is not as stable as authorities say. The people of Batken need help ASAP.
