AKIPRESS.COM - The number of Kyrgyz citizens injured as a result of the Kyrgyz-Tajik border conflict reached 154. 31 of them died, Deputy Minister of Health and Social Developmetn Aliza Soltonbekova told a briefing.
Among 154 injured, 121 are civilians and 23 are law enforcers, she said.
32 medical specilists provide medical assistance to those injured in the conflict in Batken.
Specialists from Bishkek, Osh, Talas region treat injured. Health Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev is on the ground.
"A team of 4 specialists of Osh Mental Health Center departed for Batken. The team includes psychiatrists and clinical pyschologists," Aliza Sotonbekova said.
49 citizens injured in the conflict receive medical treatment in Bishkek hospitals.
