Situation on Kyrgyz-Tajik border as of 10.00 p.m. stable - Security Council

AKIPRESS.COM - As of 10.00 p.m. of May 1, the situation on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border in Batken region is stable on the whole, the Security Council of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The joint working group was set up to control withdrawal of troops and military machinery from the border areas to their duty stations.
The work of the joint group will begin since 8.00 a.m. Kyrgyzstan time (7.00 a.m. Tajikistan time) of May 2.
