Bishkek and Chui region are in red zone of COVID-19 transmission, he said.
"These regions need to immediately take actions to stop transmission," he added.
Issyk-Kul region and Kyrgyzstan on the whole are in COVID-19 transmission yellow zone due to Bishkek and Chui region.
Yellow zone means:
- weekly cases make between 40-80 per 100,000, effective reproductive number is less 1;
- weekly cases make between 20-50 per 100,000, effective reproductive number is more than 1.
Red zone means:
- weekly cases are higher than 80 per 100,000 with reproductive number less than 1;
- weekly cases are higher than 50 per 100,000 with reproductive number more than 1.
