Kyrgyz government to restore documents for border conflict-affected citizens

AKIPRESS.COM - The government will provide support to citizens, whose documents were lost or destroyed as a result of the Kyrgyz-Tajik border conflict in Batken region, the government's press service reported.
Prime Minister Ulukbek Maripov said the border conflict entailed a number of problems.
"All possible support is provided to the people affected by the conflict. The State Registration Service will make a list of citizens needing documents in cooperation with local authorities. Mobile teams with all necessary equipment will visit citizens to issue such documents as birth certificates, marriage certificates, passports. Assistance will be also provided in vehicle registration and issuance of driver's licenses," Prime Minister Ulukbek Maripov stated.
