Kazakhstan vaccinates 1,422,204 people against coronavirus so far

AKIPRESS.COM - As of May 4, Kazakhstan vaccinated 1,422,204 people against coronavirus infection.
347,474 people already received the second shot, the Ministry of Health said on May 4.
Almaty city vaccinated some 228,860 people, Almaty region - 165,351, Turkestan - 132,528, Shymkent region - 123,502, Karaganda - 119,949 and Nur-Sultan - 114,698.
Coronavirus vaccination campaign kicked off in Kazakhstan on February 1, 2021. The Russian Sputnik V and the Kazakh QazVac vaccines are used to immunize the population.
