Maksat border guard post before and after getting fired by Tajik troops

AKIPRESS.COM - The Maksat border guard post of the National Security Committee of Kyrgyzstan located in the Leilek district of Batken region was burned down in Kyrgyz-Tajik armed conflict. The facility burned in the night of April 29-30. Throughout the day on April 30, Tajik soldiers were on the territory of Maksat village burning and looting houses.
The village of Maksat was one of the places of armed conflict between Kyrgyz and Tajik troops of April 28 - May 1. The residents of Maksat village suffered significant damages, houses, facilities were destroyed and cars were burned. A school and a kindergarten were damaged.
