Financing of education sector needs reform, President Japarov says

AKIPRESS.COM - "We need to reconsider budget legislation. The coronavirus pandemic revealed our systemic problems almost in all spheres, especially in social sphere," President Sadyr Japarov said in his address to the nation on May 5.
Family medicine centers need to be strengthened and modernized, he said.
The conditions should be created for development of modern diagnostic centers and laboratory services in all regions of the country.
President Japarov ordered to introduce mechanisms of medicines price regulation mechanisms.
The education system needs to be reformed, President Japarov said.
"I order to create the system that would meet economic needs and nowadays requirements. School graduates should have relevant knowledge and skill. It is necessary to develop preschool education services market with use of innovative methods and methodologies. Children's development center should be introduced in addition to traditional kindergartens," President Japarov said.
The national model should be developed, the President said. Content and methods of training at vocational schools should be revised, he added.
