Japarov attends groundbreaking ceremony for new military station in Leilek

AKIPRESS.COM - President Sadyr Japarov laid a foundation for a new military station in the Leilek district of Batken region on May 6, the presidential administration reported. He also met with locals to discuss delimitation and demarcation of the state border.
Japarov said that border issues are a top priority of his policy because the security of the state begins with its external borders.
He also told about the state assistance to support the affected. Families of those killed will receive compensation of 1 million soms each, those injured will get 50,000 to 100,000 soms each, and all destroyed homes will be restored for free.
President will personally supervise restoration efforts, he noted.
Locals thanked Kyrgyz citizens who still continue to help the Batken region.
