AKIPRESS.COM - Russian President Vladimir Putin is not planning a telephone conversation with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov any time soon, said Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, TASS reports. "Not in the schedule yet," he said responding to a question about whether such a contact was planned in the near future taking into account his today's talks with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon.
Rahmon arrived in Moscow on Saturday for talks with Vladimir Putin. The leaders discussed the situation in the region and issues of bilateral relations. On Sunday, Rahmon will attend a military parade on Red Square to mark the 76th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Peskov earlier told TASS that Rahmon's visit had been planned and coordinated before the events on the Tajik-Kyrgyz border, while Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov is not expected to come to Moscow for the Victory Day celebration.
