Kyrgyzstan registers 224 new coronavirus cases, 8 deaths

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan confirmed 224 new coronavirus cases for the past day, the nation-wide operative team for coronavirus containment reported on May 16.
New cases include 150 in Bishkek, 41 in Chui region, 18 in Issyk-Kul region, 6 in Naryn region, 3 in Osh, 2 in Osh region, 2 in Talas region, 2 in Jalal-Abad region.
The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases reached 100,473.
Eight lethal cases linked to coronavirus infection were registered for the past day. They include 5 deaths in Bishkek, 2 in Chui region, 1 in Issyk-Kul region. The death toll from coronavirus infection reached 1,703.
1,733 patients remain in hospitals. 433 of them are in serious condition, 95 are in critical condition.
2,427 patients are treated from coronavirus infection at home.
