Kyrgyzstan expects arrival of 150,000 doses of Sinopharm coronavirus vaccine

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan will receive 150,000 doses of Sinopharm coronavirus vaccine in late May, Deputy Minister of Health and Social Development Bakyt Jangaziev said. "Both components of Sinopharm vaccine are the same. The second component just strengthens the effect. The second component has been reserved for those who already received the first component," the Deputy Health Minister said.
The Ministry of Health reported some 60,740 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 as of May 20.
16,757 of them received the second dose of the vaccine.
