MP says 13,000 people outside Bishkek built up houses on pasture lands

AKIPRESS.COM - 13 thousand people in Vasilievsky rural district (Alamedin district of Chui region) built houses and live on the pasture land, said MP Rada Tumanbaeva during discussion of draft amendments to the law on transformation of land. "13,000 people live right on pastures. If this is happening near the city of Bishkek, what can happen in the regions?" she asked.
The MP asked Minister of Agriculture Askarbek Janybekov to take this issue under his control.
