Kyrgyzstan reports 298 new COVID-19 cases, 8 deaths

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan confirmed 298 new coronavirus cases for the past day, Health Ministry's representative Ainura Akmatova told a press briefing on May 25.
They include 144 new cases in Bishkek, 86 in Chui region, 23 in Osh, 18 in Issyk-Kul region, 13 in Naryn region, 7 in Osh region, 5 in Jalal-Abad region, 2 in Talas region.
The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases since March 2020 reached 103,000.
The highest coronavirus cases rate per 100,000 is in Bishkek, which exceeds the country's average 2.3 times.
8 patients died from coronavirus infection for a day in Bishkek. The death toll reached 1,765.
