MP doubts Kyrgyzstan has even 82% mobile communication coverage

AKIPRESS.COM - MP Kaldarbek Baimuratov doubted that the mobile communication coverage of Kyrgyzstan reaches 82%. "On the way to Issyk-Kul there is no coverage in many spots, even after leaving Tokmok town there is no network," he said.
The same situation is on the way to Jalal-Abad, Osh after Sosnovka village: no network.
"Before the tunnel, you can get some signal in 2-3 places, in the tunnel you can't reach anyone, and there is no signal at all in the Ala-Bel pass. No signal inside Chychkan Gorge, nothing on the road to Otmok pass, no signal on the road to Torugart. I can't get any signal even inside the city sometimes," he said.
It's impossible to get mobile internet inside the parliament session either, he added. "Do you know why? The walls are thick. In the dining room downstairs, you can't get the signal either. What 82% of phone coverage are you talking about? In some places it's not even 50%," he said.
