Government does not support business community, which is a wrong approach: Parliament Speaker

AKIPRESS.COM - Given the scale of transformation in the system of state administration and the processes of legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, there is a lot of work to be done to bring the laws and the Constitution into conformity, Speaker Talant Mamytov said at a meeting of the Business and Entrepreneurs Development Council on June 10. "I believe that our business council will play an important role in this regard since the main purpose of our bills is the protection of entrepreneurial activity and investors, and most importantly, protection of business from unnecessary inspections. I believe that all this should be reflected in the bills that will be further developed by us," he said.
According to the speaker, usually the government does not support the business community.
"I think this is the wrong approach. Without supporting entrepreneurs, we will not be able to develop the economy. I think that together with the Cabinet and MPs we will develop the right bills, we will need to choose the main directions like protection, promotion, as well as attracting investments," he said.
