Interior Ministry investigator detained red-handed with bribes

AKIPRESS.COM - State National Security Committee, together with the Interior Ministry's Internal Investigations Service, detained Police Colonel U.E.K. red-handed on June 9 in his office while accepting a bribe of $500. On June 11, the Ministry of Interior Affairs' Investigative Service press office reported that a bribe was extorted by an investigator of the Interior Ministry's Investigative Service to drop a criminal probe against a person involved in crime.
Probe into extortion of bribe was launched.
The detainee was taken to the temporary detention facility.
