AKIPRESS.COM - The third coronavirus wave is observed in Kyrgyzstan now, Deputy Minister of Health and Social Development Jalalidin Rahmatullaev told a press briefing on June 15.
The country had 2 coronavirus waves last year - in July and November 2020, he said.
"The first coronavirus case was registered on March 18, 2020. Two waves with peak of coronavirus cases were observed throughout the year. The first wave occurred in July when 1,600 daily cases were registered. The second wave was observed from October to November when 606 daily cases were registered in peak period," the Deputy Health Minister said.
The effective reproductive number made 1.3% during the last 7 days, Deputy Health Minister Rahmatullaev stated.
