Court postpones hearing on MPs Asylbek Jeenbekov and Torobai Zulpukarov's arrest

AKIPRESS.COM - The Bishkek City Court postponed consideration of the petition to change arrest form for the MP Asylbek Jeenbekov and MP Torobai Zulpukarov. The session was chaired by judge Irina Vorontsova.
Lawyer Davran Kasymov said that in connection with the fact that his client Jeenbekov was not delivered to the courtroom, the session was postponed to June 23.
Asylbek Jeenbekov and Torobai Zulpukarov are involved in in the criminal probe into corruption looking into the various stages of the Kumtor deposit development.
They were detained on May 31 and taken to the detention facility of the National Security Committee.
