AKIPRESS.COM - Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to South Korea Dinara Kemelova met with Korean International Cooperation Agency President Sohn Hyuk-sang on June 18.
The sides discussed the progress of implementation of projects and promising areas of cooperation for the next few years.
The KOICA President said Kyrgyzstan was added to the list of priority countries partners of the Republic of Korea and underlined importance of multisectoral approach to implementation of projects.
Ambassador Dinara Kemelova thanked the Korean government for assistance provided for development of villages and regions, agriculture, education, digitalization, fire safety, other important socio-economic spheres and asked assistance in improvement of automated electoral system of Kyrgyzstan, improvement of irrigation infrastructure and provision of access to potable water for population.
The sides exchanged views on human resources development, infrastructure, importance of projects in healthcare sector amid COVID-19 pandemic, information technologies, education and training of specialists.
