Health Ministry hasn't permitted private healthcare providers to treat coronavirus patients, Bishkek vice mayor says

AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of Health and Social Development has not permitted private clinics to treat patients with coronavirus infection, Bishkek vice mayor Viktoria Mozgacheva said.
"However they admit patients and treat patients. Medical personnel was not trained. Then these patients in serious condition are transported to public hospitals," the vice mayor said.
The Ministry of Health plans to repurpose some hospitals departments for COVID-19 centers when necessary, the vice mayor said.
