Bishkek mayor's office to purchase 350 low-floor buses before year-end

AKIPRESS.COM - The mayor's office of Bishkek plans to buy 350 low-floor buses from the loan of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
The agreement was signed with EBRD 2 months ago, acting mayor Baktybek Kudaibergenov said.
Bishkek authorities seek to receive 33 million Euros for the project, including 8 million Euro grant and 25 million Euro loan, he said.
The proposal was sent to EBRD headquarters. 350 buses may be purchased by October 1 if all procedures are carried out timely, the acting mayor added.
