AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of Health won't offer quarantine restrictions due to resurgence in coronavirus cases, Minister of Health and Social Development Alymkadyr Beishenaliev told AKIpress on June 30. "Last year we introduced lockdown which led to crisis. Prices are soaring now and it will be wrong to re-introduce restrictions," the Health Minister said.
"Most new cases have mild symptoms. They receive treatment at home. For this reason the Ministry of Health won't recommend restrictions," he said.
Kyrgyzstan confirmed 1,965 new coronavirus cases by the morning of June 30.
