Over 5,000 hectares of grain fields dried in Ak-Suu district

AKIPRESS.COM - Over 5,000 hectares of grain fields dried due to the heat in Ak-Suu district of Issyk-Kul region, the district department of agriculture reported.
Calculation of losses are currently underway.
Wheat and barley fields dried in Kara-Jal, Tepke, Karakol, Otradny, Chelpek and Boru-Bash villages.
Farmers from Karakol suffered great losses, too.
At present, a special district commission is preparing documents to notify the Ministry of Agriculture.
