MP Abjaliev probed for illegal wealth shows up at session of Parliament of Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - MP Aliyarbek Abjaliev showed up at the opening ceremony of the extraordinary session of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan on July 5.
Abzhaliev reportedly left Kyrgyzstan in January 2021.
In March 2021, the State National Security Committee said a criminal probe against Abjaliev's illegal wealth was launched. The Committee said Abjaliev interfered into work of government agencies and lobbied interests of others using his close ties with ex-President Sooronbai Jeenbekov.
Aliyarbek Abjaliev's son is married to Sooronbai Jeenbekov's daughter.
