Tajikistan to receive AstraZeneca vaccine in August

AKIPRESS.COM - The next consignment of AstraZeneca vaccine will be delivered to Tajikistan in the second half of August, Khovar reported. The $8 million grant contract was signed with the World Bank. A $25 million agreement was signed with the Asian Development Bank. A certain amount of those funds will be spent for purchase of vaccines.
The Tajik government plans to buy additional doses of coronavirus vaccines on public budget funds.
More than 300,000 were vaccinated against COVID-19 so far, 97,000 of them in Dushanbe.
