AKIPRESS.COM - Investigation into who and how took president of the Kyrgyz-Turkish school network Sapat Orhan Inandi out of Kyrgyzstan is under way, said State National Security Committee Chairman Kamchibek Tashiev at a press conference on July 8.
On July 7, Chairman of the Border Service Ularbek Sharsheyev said in parliament that there is no information on how Inandi was taken out of the country.
Orhan Inandi had been tried to be kidnapped since 2015, said Tashiev.
Employees of the 6th Department of the State National Security Committee received information that an unknown citizen of a country was planning to kidnap an unknown Turkish citizen living in Kyrgyzstan. That was in 2018.
"After investigation, the Main Investigation Department of the GKNB began pre-trial proceedings into kidnapping on December 7, 2019. The suspect offered the operative source assistance in the kidnapping of Orhan Inandi," he said. After learning of this, the GKNB warned Inandi.
