AKIPRESS.COM - Shooting is heard on the border between Afghanistan and Turkmenistan, turkmen.news reports. Shooting is heard from the Afghan village of Turgundi near Turkmenistan's Serhetabad. Eight trucks with fully equipped soldiers and bikers passed through Serhetabad yesterday, turkmen.news reported with reference to local residents.
Evacuation of families of Turkmen military started. Families are sent away from the border with Afghanistan, according to the report.
Tolo News reported earlier with reference to sources in defense agencies of Afghanistan that fierce clashes continue between Taliban fighters and government forces in Badghis Province since July 7.
