Chinese Foreign Minister to visit Central Asian states

AKIPRESS.COM - Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will make working visits to Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan from July 12, Foreign Ministry's spokesperson Wang Wenbin said. The visit will last until July 16.
In Dushanbe, Foreign Minister Wang Yi will attend the meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Foreign Ministers, including SCO Contact Group for Afghanistan.
The Chinese Foreign Ministers will hold bilateral talks with the Foreign Ministers of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, will also meet with the leaders of 3 Central Asian states.
FM Wng Yi will attend the International High-Level Conference "Central and South Asia: Regional Connections. Challenges and Opportunities" in Tashkent.
The goal of this visit is promotion of peace in Afghanistan and strengthening of cooperation of China with the Central Asian countries.
