Kyrgyzstan extends simplified visa framework for 11 countries until end of 2022

AKIPRESS.COM - The Cabinet issued a resolution on July 8 making changes in the earlier resolution of the Kyrgyz government containing the list of foreign states subject to simplified visa framework of February 7, 2009.
The list includes 79 countries. Special rules are applied for nationals of:
- Algeria
- Bangladesh
- Egypt
- India
- Jordan
- Lebanon
- Morocco
- Nepal
- Pakistan
- Tunisia
- Sri Lanka, who may obtain tourist visas (for up to one month) under simplified visa framework if they have permanent resident cards in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Brunei Darussalam, Oman and Bahrain.
The simplified visa framework for these nationals will be in effect until December 31, 2022.
This move is aimed to liberalize visa requirements and to create conducive conditions to bolster investments, trade and tourism.
