Almost 80 nationals of Afghanistan flee to Tajikistan

AKIPRESS.COM - 77 residents of Wakhan district of Badakhshan province of Afghanistan fled to Tajikistan escaping from Taliban fighters, the Border Troops of Tajikistan said.
"On July 13, at 4:00 PM local time, 77 Afghan nationals, 26 men, 20 men and 31 minors, mainly residents of Kyrgyz village Andemin, Wakhan district, escaping from Taliban crossed the border into Tajikistan in Murgab district," said the report.
Tajik border guards allowed Afghan refugees to enter Tajikistan for humanitarian considerations. The Afghan refugees stay in Murgab district, the Border Troops said.
