2 million more Kyrgyzstanis need to be vaccinated against COVID-19

AKIPRESS.COM - Some 2.137 million from 6 million citizens of Kyrgyzstan are subject to vaccination against coronavirus infection, Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev said in Parliament today.
140,000 were already vaccinated, he added.
MP Baktybek Turusbekov asked how much money is required for vaccination of remaining 2 million citizens.
"If we receive around 2 million doses of vaccines through COVAX program, we won't need to spend public budget funds for purchase of vaccines," the Health Minister said.
