347 ethnic Kyrgyz flee from Afghanistan to Tajikistan amid intensified offensives by Taliban

AKIPRESS.COM - 347 civilians, 91 men, 77 women, 177 minors among them, ethnic Kyrgyz, residents of Andemin village of Wakhan district of Badakhshan Province of Afghanistan fled to Tajikistan on July 13-14.
During border crossing two infants died, the Border Troops of Tajikistan said.
Refugees were accommodated in Choshteppa and Duyutuk in Murgab district.
More than 3.5 kg of drugs were found during search and interrogation of Afghan nationals.
