Uzbekistan climbs 6 positions in Global Muslim Travel Index

AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan ranks 16th in the Global Muslim Travel Index this year. This is 6 positions higher than in the Index released before coronavirus pandemic.
The Religious Affairs Committee under the Government of Uzbekistan explains improvement of Uzbekistan's position with several projects aimed at study of a rich Islamic heritage of Uzbekistan and its popularization at international level.
Uzbekistan ranked 22nd in the Global Muslim Tracel Index in 2019 and 32nd in 2018.
The Global Muslim Travel Index is released by rating agency Crescent since 2015. The rankings evaluate sites for Muslim travelers by more than 40 criteria in 130 countries.
