President of Uzbekistan receives Chinese Foreign Minister

AKIPRESS.COM - President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received China's State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi on July 15, who arrived to Uzbekistan on official visit.
Relevant issues of further expansion of bilateral relations of friendship and multifaceted strategic partnership were considered during this meeting, the president's press service reported.
A special attention was paid to implementation of the agreements reached at top level, including advancement of joint programs and projects in commercial, economic, investment, financial, technical, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres of multifaceted cooperation. Importance of continued closed cooperation in response to coronavirus pandemic was noted.
The views were also exchanged on international issues, including situation in Afghanistan.
