AKIPRESS.COM - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan signed a joint declaration on establishment of strategic partnership between two countries following the talks, the president's press service reported.
The sides exchanged 8 documents signed during the Pakistani Prime Minister's visit, including the intergovernmental agreements on transit and trade, simplified visa framework for businessmen and tourist groups.
The protocol on cooperation in military training was signed between the Defense Ministries.
The program of cultural exchanges for 2021-2026, memorandum of understanding on tourism, protocol on exchange of preliminary information on goods and vehicles crossing the state border were signed as well.
The University of World Economics and Diplomacy and Pakistani Academy of Diplomatic Service signed a memorandum of understanding.
The agreement on establishment of Uzbekistan-Pakistan Business Council was signed.
Agreements for $500 million were signed following the meeting of the intergovernmental commission and Uzbekistan-Pakistan business forum.
