Inflation in Kyrgyzstan is projected to remain high

AKIPRESS.COM - Inflation in Kyrgyzstan remains above the target benchmark, according to macroeconomic review of the Eurasian Development Bank. Inflation slowed to 8.7% in April from 10.1% in January 2021.
In May, CPI growth accelerated to 10.9% in part due to the previous year's low-base effect.
This factor will keep inflation at high levels until mid-fall 2021,says the review.
