First Deputy FM Niyazaliev skipped C5+1 meeting in Tashkent due to positive PCR test for coronavirus

AKIPRESS.COM - First Deputy Foreign Minister Nuran Niyazaliev skipped the Ministerial Meeting of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and the United States in Tashkent after he tested positive for coronavirus infection, the Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan said.
Kyrgyzstan was represented at the event by Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan Ibragim Junusov.
The repeated PCR test for coronavirus infection on July 15 was negative and First Deputy Foreign Minister Niyazaliev was allowed to attend the International Conference on Central and South Asia, the 4th meeting of Central Asian and Russian Foreign Ministers.
First Deputy Foreign Minister Nuran Niyazaliev also held bilateral meetings with the UN Secretary Genera's Special Representative, Head of UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia, newly appointed EU Special Representative for Central Asia, EU Special Representative for Afghanistan, Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan, Bangladesh, Qatar and Italy.
Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev is treated from coronavirus infection in hospital.
